Covidien – Medical Device Reprocessing Facility

Covidien selected ahp Architects to provide full architectural services on their new 65,000 square foot medical device reprocessing center in Tampa, FL. Class 100,000 Clean Rooms, laboratories, and manufacturing spaces were designed for the cleaning, repair, as well as reassembly for both used invasive and non-invasive devices within the building. Lean manufacturing processes as well as critical protocols were integrated throughout the plant for the processing and handling of soiled devices shipped directly from hospitals after use.
