Trinity Lutheran Church | Keene, New Hampshire
Trinity Lutheran Church sought to combine their private school with a new Sunday worship facility in order bring their church community under one roof. ahp Architects designed the 19,000 square foot, 2 story sanctuary building to compliment the existing school located in Keene, NH. The project scope included a 350 seat sanctuary, fellowship hall, choir loft, library and meeting spaces. The team at ahp worked with committee members to carefully select finishes and lighting fixtures that would reflect the church’s traditional culture. Reclaimed and custom replica stained glass windows were incorporated into the new brick façade. On the interior, sound absorptive panels were seamlessly incorporated into the ceiling and wall design to insure pleasing acoustic properties. The building was dedicated in February of 2013.
